44 Republicans, including Colorado Senator Wayne Allard, and 5 traitor Democrats
(Conrad, N.D.; Landrieu, La.; Lieberman, Conn.; Nelson, Neb.; Wyden, Ore.), voted in the Senate to end all forms of legal relief to prisoners in Guantanmo Bay, effectively overruling the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling on the issue. 42 Democrats, including Ken Salazar, opposed the measure, which may face additional votes in the Senate, as a number of Senators were absent from this key vote.
Allard was also one of the nine Senators who endorsed allowing the United States to torture people without legal consequences. (Find the link yourself, I got it from a NYT credited story in the Denver Post hard copy).
