There are very good reasons why the CIA is one of the agencies in the federal government that deserves to be dismantled. Magorn, a Daily Kos diarist, sums up a great many of them.
Bottom line. Secret prisons with 3,000 people in them run by people with only a dim idea of what they are doing and no respect for domestic law, constitutional rights or international law, are a really bad idea for a democratic nation that needs to win hearts and minds to prevent terrorism.
