Bush Style Due Process In Denver

The front page of the January 5, 2006 printed edition of the Denver Daily News (which last year won national notice for including a headline about the state of "Jew Jersey") brings us some interesting insight in a case I mentioned earlier:

Police now know that the intruder was Dwayne Step, 44.

When officers arrived, they found Stepp suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was rushed to an area hospital for treatment. . . .

Stepp will be charged for burglary when he is released from jail.

Just like Jose Padilla apparently. ;)
