A grenade was found in a car in Commerce City [Colorado] early this morning. . . . The grenade is believed to be live. . . . It was discovered during a routine traffic stop around 3 a.m.

In similar news, five people linked to Grand Junction, Colorado's Walker Field airport were the targets of a coordinated bomb attack last week.
I strongly suspect that neither is connected to Middle Eastern terrorist activity.
