The last month has been a mixed bag for underwear technology.
On the plus side, the ever resourceful British have developed underwear that solves the longstanding plumber's crack problem.
On the minus side, Under Armour, a favorite of U.S. troops in Iraq as a result of its polyester fabric's ability to breathe in the desert climate has been banned by the U.S. military for the entirely reasonable reason that it is prone to melting and seriously burning those wearing it when exposed to exterme heat in combat.
