Denver's KDBI-Channel 12, a PDS station,
ended analog broadcast in January when its analog tower was damages by high winds and is asking the FCC for permission not to rebuild the analog tower. Congress set back the digital TV transition date from February 17 to June 12, but TV stations may opt out with FCC permission. Denver's other major TV stations are discussing an April 2009 transition date.
