The Dayton Daily News is the daily newspaper of a medium sized city. But, it has just eight job listings today. Five are for jobs at the paper. There are also three paid job listings. One for a certified mental retardation specialist, one for a tractor-trailer mechanic, and one for a lathe operator. All other job listings in the city have apparently all fled to the Internet.
Why is the number as high as 8?
ReplyDeleteIt should be zero.
Who reads the classified ads in the newspaper anymore?
I write this as someone who gets the Denver Post every day and as someone who is over 60.
