Yup. As someone from a poor migrant background myself, I can attest that being poor in the US is no fun ride...strangely enough though, all the middle class people I am around ( I live in a fairly well to do county) still seem to think being poor is "easy living" in the US, with all kinds of "generous" support from the "government". lol....
