DPS Board Appointee Backs Out To End Controversy

The Denver Post has reported that MiDian Holmes who had been appointed to a vacant Denver Public Schools directorship by the DPS Board, has declined to accept the appointment in the wake of controversy over her misdemeanor child neglect conviction which was not fully disclosed to the board during the appointment process.
