Bonchon is my current favorite, but there are maybe 17 Korean-style fried chicken chains in Denver including "bb. q", "Mono Mono", "KKoki Korean BBQ", "Cupbop", "CM Chicken", "Dae Gee", "Angry Chicken", "Yong gung", "Baek ga", "Chilgogi", "Funny Plus", "Mrs. Kim", "Bop and Gogi", "Thank Sool", "Wo Ri", and "K Pocha". This kind of restaurant is called a "Chimeck" restaurant (Chi for chicken, and Meck for Meck Jew which is Korean for beer, so "chicken and beer" restaurant). "what does it taste like" Crunchier, but "cleaner" than extra crispy KFC. Prices vary widely. More than KFC. Less than dinner at a steak house or fancy restaurant. Often, similar to fast casual dining places like Chipotle and Noodles or Smash Burger. It is not generally served with rice or fries, but is often served with banchan, pronounced "bonchon" (Korean side dishes), like kimchee and pickled radishes. Usually, drinks are sold separately (most people get beer or soju, rather than soda), although I'm sure that some of them have meal deals (obviously, I haven't tried them all).
