Colorado's Education Boards

Not all elements of Colorado government are controlled by Democrats.

In addition to holding the Colorado Attorney-General's office, Republicans have a 4-3 majority on the Colorado Board of Education (a fairly weak body, because the legislature retains funding authority and Colorado school districts have considerable local control). Democrats also hold only three of the nine University of Colorado Regents positions.
