U.S. Pays Dearly For Health Care and Higher Ed

In both absolute terms, and even relative to our nation's per capita GDP, the United States spends far more per capita on health care, and far more per student on higher education, than any other country in the world.

There are real and legitimate disputes over why this is the case. But, the fact that Americans pay extreme high prices for what we are getting is indisputable.

Hat Tip to Gene Expression.
