Health Care For The Working Poor

Colorado has a program to help the working poor (singles making under $17K a year, families of four making under $37K per year) get health care called CICP. But, it doesn't have enough money. "Denver Health Medical Center, one of the state's largest providers, says it lost $180 million in 2004-05 serving 31,000 CICP clients."
