Egoism, Machiavellianism, narcissism, psychopathy, sadism, spitefulness and others are among the traits of the malevolent side of human personality. A modern correlation paper without a GWAS? Maybe they're saving that for a follow-on.

They've done GWAS for Big Five personality traits and one of those (agreeableness) is correlated with dark triad traits behaviorally. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5278898/#R22 (see the sentence cited with footnote 22).
