I have voted in every since 1968. Intend to continue for another 15+ years.
I am trying to vote for people under 60 as I think we need to get the Boomers and Oldsters out of office.
But, the kids need to do their part.
I am approaching the age where I wouldn't vote for myself! I work with a lot of older people, and regardless of how sharp a 70-year-old is, he or she isn't as sharp as at 60 or 50. Gerontocracy has some advantages, but more-so in a stable society, which we are not in.
Flip that, and I see no advantages to 20-year-olds voting in large numbers. Letting them vote, yes, since as citizens they have responsibilities. Encouraging? No.
I would be happy with a legal requirement to vote.
