The latest record project of Tori Amos,
"comic book tattoo" includes a companion 480 page comic book. Given her long standing relationship with Neil Gaiman, whose contributions to comics are well known, her comfort with the medium isn't too much of a surprise.

they're a thing - tori amos and gaiman?
They don't currently have a publicly acknowledged sexual relationship. Tori is married to someone else and has kids now. Gaiman is the godfather of one of them and is apparently single.
They have been artistic collaborators and BFFs at least as early as 1991. Tori regularly references Neil in her songs, and Neil has multiple references to Tori in his works (e.g. Tori had a minor role in one of his movies and he has written a published poem for his goddaughter). They've had joint projects and are regularly spend time together and are in contact with each other as close platonic friends.
Their relationship has few historical rivals. Perhaps the close personal ties between Lord Byron, Percy Bysshe Shelley, Wollstonecraft Shelley, and John William Polidori; or between C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkein would be some of the closest well known comparisons.
