For all my beloved Washington Park's virtues, we have at least one notable drawback. It seems that it, as well as nearby University Park, has a reputation for having for the worst At&T network cell phone coverage in the entire city of Denver, Colorado (truth be told, the digital television signal reception is pretty mediocre as well).
It so happens that there have been a somewhat fierce but obscure series of land use squabbles over the matter of building a new tower to address this shortfall (and related but more serious dead zones for EMS radios in the area), but apparently tech reporters at the Denver Post like Andy Vuong, don't talk much to the city beat reporters who cover such matters, or the paper may lack institutional memory - if it isn't readily discoverable via Google, it doesn't exist.
