DETROIT (13abc, Action News) - . . . City officials said Saturday that only 28 fires had been reported over the first two days compared to 66 at the same time in 2014. More than 3,500 people volunteered to help patrol Detroit streets this year. The campaign is a long-running response to what used to be known as Devil's Night, the day before Halloween. In 1984, Detroit had more than 800 fires during the period.From here.
