Detroit Still in Decline.

"Detroit is the most impoverished major city in the nation. And conditions are getting worse." NPR has the details. About one-third of Detroit residents are in poverty, the highest of any city of 250,000 people or more. The city orders hundreds of empty buildings demolished every week.
