North Korean Nuclear Technology

A commentator on NPR this morning added a facinating nuance to the weekend's nuclear weapons tests by North Korea.

Who provided the technology to backward's North Korea? Pakistan. The same Pakistan whom the admininistration insists is an ally in the war on terrorism. The same Pakistan that removed its prior leader in a coup because he met his commitments to the United States. The same Pakistan to which we are selling aircraft equipped to deliver nuclear weapons on our democratic ally in the region, India. The same Pakistan which provided a back door out of Afghanistan for Osama bin Laden.

With friends like that, who needs enemies?
