Blogger Kathleen Seidel, of neurodiviersity.com, has done a solid job,
pro se, of defending a subpoena in a vaccine litigation action in a motion reprinted in an April 3, 2008 posting at the site. As she has no personal knowledge of any facts related to the case, and is a layperson, rather than an expert in the field, the subpoena appears inappropriate to me. Her description of the subpoena, moreover, makes it clear that it is overbroad.

By way of Slashdot, the subpoena has been quashed. Furthermore, "Attorney Clifford Shoemaker is ordered to show cause within 10 days why he should not be sanctioned."
Hurray!
