Two St. Louis area attorneys were given peace disturbance violations Thursday after they got into a scuffle in the hallway of the Civil Courts building. Michael J. McAvoy and Edward F. Luby are on opposite sides of a civil suit involving a breach of contract. . . . The attorneys were scheduled to meet in Division 2 courtroom Thursday to discuss a motion that Luby filed to end mediation.
The judge, showing great prescience, granted the motion before the fight broke out.
