Some findings from the latest Pew Report on immigration (the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants is from Google AI). About 76% of foreign born people in the U.S. are "documented" immigrants.
Thus, 96.2% of people in the U.S. are native born, about 10.3% are foreign born "documented" immigrants (a significant share of whom are naturalized citizens), and about 3.5% are undocumented immigrants (many of whom arrived as children or have been in the U.S. for a decade or more).
